The 450 offers an improved squaring bar and an extruded aluminum guide rail, allowing the cutting head to "hook on" and glide smoothly, mounted on a 40" baseboard. Other new additions are the larger quick-release guide knobs and the scaled production stop. This model comes with two different cutters: the 702 Pivot and Pull Bevel Cutter, which has an anti-crawl device to prevent forward creep of the cutting head during blade insertions, and the 701 Straight Cutter, which has three depths including safety, standard thickness matboard and foamboard.
